Augusta Auction Company is North America's only auction house that specializes exclusively in the sale of vintage and historic clothing, rare textiles, jewelry and fashion accessories. Most of the objects sold at our New York City and Sturbridge, Massachusetts sales come from museums, historical societies, universities and other institutional collections. The balance of the objects that round out our sales are consigned from estates and private collections.
Our New York sales are held each spring and fall in mid-town Manhattan and our spring 2-day Massachusetts sale is held annually to coincide with Brimfield Antique Week in Sturbridge, 6 miles east of the antique fields on Route 20 in Brimfield.
Fashions and textiles offered span four centuries with items dating from the mid-17th century to couture from the past decade.
