Both linen twill w/ bone button & fall front: 1 pair off-white linen trousers, c. 1840, W 35”, inseam 30”, L 42” (discoloration, extensive 1.5”-5” repairs at seat, 0.25”-0.75” dark stains CB W & lower legs, few sm tears lower right leg, heavy wear to right leg hem) Fair; 1 pair off-white cotton trousers w/ pot metal buckle, illegible name inked at waist (“Dr H–” ?), W 34”, inseam 30”, L 43”, (discoloration, tiny-0.5” dark stains, CB seat seam let out w/ resultant fabric strain & few tiny-0.25” tears) Good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
