2-pc cotton organdy wedding dress c/o hand embroidered bodice w/ wide bateau neckline & short puff slvs, tiered skirt satin ribbon trim, c. 1857, B 35”, L 13”, skirt W 23”, L 44”, (4.5” separation b/t trim & collar, minor discoloration/fabric stress underrms, holes in trim up to 0.5”) Very Good; 1 sheer white cotton day dress w/ long slvs, CF opening, attached slightly trained skirt w/ applied ruffles, 1860s, w/ c. 1865 bonnet, dress B 42”, W 36”, L 55”-66” (slip N/I, 1” period mend W, discoloration CB bodice, 16” tear CB hem, 3” tear W placket, tiny-0.25” holes W & hem, missing all bodice closures), bonnet 7”x7” x 5” w/ 4”x32” ties, (wear, few breaks, wire frame bent) Good, (both w/ light staining/discoloration) Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
