3-pc gown in striped & spot patterned purple & lavender silk taffeta w/ purple silk velvet ribbon trim at collar, cuffs & detachable back ruffle w/ looped ribbon panache & CF bow, possibly half mourning c. 1865: B 33.5", W 23.5", L 17", skirt W 22.5", L 42.5"-54", bow L 10", (stains left sleeve, 3 missing closures, fraying CF W, shattering below W w/ stabilization, 2 tiny repairs); 1 light purple faux roller moire over patterned w/ 2 bodices, originally 1842-1846: dreess B 34.5", W 27", L 54.5", (hem saver fraying, CF W modified, missing buttons), sleeveless bodice B 32", W 23", L 12.5-17", (sleeves removed, fraying hem, damaged closure), long sleeve bodice B 30", W 23.5", L 15-18", (missing hooks & eyes, shattering) both fair.
