Black fur felt, narrow black silk ribbon, leather sweat band, paper and silk crown linings, cylindrical tall crown, narrow 2" brim, label on crown lining, "PARAL/RUE GAMMONT/PARIS", box shaped to fit hat, covered in beige wallpaper with interlacing star pattern grid with green rosette centers, (box in three pieces with remnants of 20th C scotch tape) hat good, box poor.
