White tabby cotton, embroidered cotton cord fringe on two ends, expertly hand-painted in naturalistic floral and insect designs, English and French script hidden in vines and with small drawings of farm animals, people, an eye, two ladies' portraits, some text reads, "Elizabeth/Sara/O Dear Me/Where The Bee Sucks/My Eye!/Quite Comme Il Faut, N'Est Ce Pas?/Courage/Ma Chere/E. Smith", probably English, (minor discoloration) excellent.
