Our November Historic Fashion & Textile auction in New York City was an exceptional sale. Objects included came from the Strong Museum (sold to benefit the museum's collection fund), other items sold to benefit the costume collection of the Museum of Fine Arts- Boston with additions from many other institutions, estates and private collections. A large Chanel collection of clothing and accessories from the estate of Karen Kendle Marshe, former footwear director of CHANEL USA was included. The fall sale also included the first selections from Canada's Allan Suddon-Kathy Cleaver historic costume collection. 

Featured at our November sale - early 1920's Vionnet beaded gown, rare unworn outfits purchased in February 1968 at the Beatle's Apple Boutique in London,  Original fashion illustrations by Charles James, Sequined Courreges mini dress with matching boots, Two 1930's Chanel lace dresses, Many Dior couture evening dresses from 1958- 1960's & contemporary Chanel garments & accessories, 20th C. designers- Schiaparelli,  Jacques Fath, Mary Quant, Jean Patou, Paquin, Norell, Galanos, Pucci, Cardin, Ceil Chapman, & many others , handmade laces & lace clothing,  collection of 19th C. Victorian women's & children's clothing, 1920's beaded flapper dresses, great clothing from 1950's to 1990's and much more.
