1 charcoal velveteen afternoon dress w/ chemical lace insert to neck & cuffs, peacock eye embroidered silk trim edging at yoke & cuffs, decorative self-covered buttons & rows of tucking, B 38”, W 30”, L 60”, (1.25” tear CB W, 1.5” tear left hem, few sm wear spots & areas of light crushing, lace discolored w/ few sm holes); 1 black silk taffeta w/ crepe chiffon front panel, faux overdress embellished w/ gathered, ruched & shaped applied self-bands on bodice, sleeves & front edges of overdress, taffeta underdress, B 36”, W 32”, L 56”, (2.5” seam opening CF W, loose stitching right W, few scattered splits up to 1” & tiny holes lower skirt) Both Good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
