Altar frontal of red silk velvet embroidered w/ bullion & flat metallic sequins in circular central reserve featuring monstrance surrounded by rays & flanked by scrolls of wheat, border of silk & gilt metal braid & tablet woven edging, plum cotton twill backing, Spain, 18th c, 70.75” x 19.5”, (tarnish to metal threads & spangles, shredding & loss center motif, moderate spangle loss, minor pulls to trim & embroidery, light discoloration, sm stains & crushing to ground) good.
