Panel composed of ivory silk w/ polychrome flower, bulb & scroll embroidery, couched gilt wrapped thread & flat metallic strips applied in cross-shaped edged w/ metallic galloon on moss green silk velvet, lined in khaki green twill silk, applique panels originally late 18th C, re-fashioned from ecclesiastical vestment at later date, 19” x 42”, (light discoloration to center panel, light wear/crushing to velvet, moderate tarnish & pulls to metal threads, 4” x 2.25” patch repair center panel, many mends to stabilize shatter in center panel up to 8”, varied loss to embroidery threads) Good.
