1 Irish chain quilt, brown, red & blue printed cotton squares, c. 1850, USA, 89” x 76”, (broad light discoloration, varied shatter & loss to brown printed textiles, ribbons attached CF) fair; 1 union block variation quilt, brown khaki & red on white cotton, machine sewn, c. 1940s, USA, 72.5” x 72”, (light tidemarks & discoloration to ground, few light stains up to 1.5”, even fading to green, some fraying border edge, panel applied to back for hanging) good. Provenance: International Quilt Museum at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
