1 cover of panel of brocaded silk, constructed from dress fabric, polychrome floral spray meander pattern on off white ground; multiple pieces, seamed, applied border of silk/gilt metal braid, lining of light brown linen, England, c. 1745, 47.5" x 71.5", (discoloration, extensive repairs, shattering, wear/tarnish border, stains to 2”, staining back); 1 bedspread of green silk w/polychrome silk embroidery, motif of basket & floral bouquets, binding of pale pink silk grosgrain, green linen backing, Italy, 1750, 81.75” x 92.5” (extensive repairs especially at border, shatter and staining throughout, wear and minor loss to embroidery) both fair.
