1 joined pair Alencon lace, France, sinuous single garland of small flowers meander through center of lappets, edged w/ small blossoms, leaves & scrolls w/ varied fillings, 3.5" x 45", (some period mends) very good; 1 cut pair, very fine Flemish needle lace w/ tiny flowers, tendrils & stars, (many mends & small splits) fair. Estate of Marion Powys, renowned early 20th C lace expert & owner of Devonshire Lace Shop, 556 Madison Ave, NYC, 1916-1948.
