Ivory silk crepe, ivory hand embroidered floral clusters, deep knotted fringe, 62" x 65", Fringe 13", attached note by Mrs. Wm. J. Dyer, wife of Gov. of R.I., "..worn by my mother when she was listening to Jenny Lind in 1850 at Castle Gardens New York", (scattered brown spots) very good; t/w 1 1820-1840 green & pink stripe shawl belonging to Harriet Van Schoonhoven Roy, whose family came to America in 1695 stettleing in Waterford, N.Y.
