Floral pink silk damask bodice, pink brocade chiffon over bodice top & shoulders, chartreuse velvet short balloon sleeves & bodice trim, skirt pink silk satin overlaid w/ pink brocade chiffon, wide chartreuse velvet belt, Sh-Sh 10.25", B 32", W 22", Skirt L 39"-43", (bodice side seams have small piece added to enlarge, easily removed) excellent. Provenance: worn by Mary E. Rusk, daughter of 1st US Secretary of Agriculture, to Benjamin Harrisons Innaugural Ball, January, 1889.
