Wool broadcloth, red silk cord & chenille trim, 5" collar, 2 hand slits, rose calamanco facing, 2 seams in cape forming large triangles, peaked hood, L 48", (many holes & stains, trim worn, peaked hood altered from gathered hood) fair. Cloak original to Mary Pierson Rose (1769-1830), wife of Brigadier Gen.
