Both finely woven by Tarabuco Indians of the Andes Mountains: 1 vicuna shawl fragment, possibly 18th C, w/ coral raised weft stripes having horses (or lamas?) w/in diamonds, 11" x 18", (holes); 1 blanket sampler, multi-colored bright stripesalternate w/ multi-color raised weft stripes in geometric designs, 23" x 40", (some uncut yarn ends) good-excellent.
