Woven by the Sorata Indians of the Andes Mountains, red ground, center pieced w/ exceptionally intricate flat & raised weave iconography in white on multi-colored stripes including horses, condors, chickens, women & other symbols in shades of red, purple& pink w/ green & black accents, 2 opposite edges w/ multi-colored solid & stylized floral designs, woven tiny diamond pattern perimeter piping, 38" x 40", (ground stained throughout, 1 large crude mend in center striped band) fair.
