Indigo & madder dye on cream cotton ground, hand block printed w/ hand painted details, large central flowering tree of life flanked at bottom w/ 2 peacocks & other bird species in branches, wide bottom border of large elaborate carnations, side bordersw/ birds & foliage in reserves w/in rectangles, narrow red & blue top border above similar reserves as sides w/ vase-like columns in between: 1 panel glazed, darker than the other, printed backings, 52" x 81", (many tears, holes in both) fair-poor.
