1 midnight navy silk satin ball gown, fitted bodice w/ broad gathered SH bands to full draped floor length skirt constructed w/ large piped diamond panels gathered to corded bows, label "Nanty, Paris, New York" & "Bergdorf Goodman, New York", B 31.5", W 27", L 60", (6" &4" seam openings CB W& CF W, skirt bones poking out inside) very good. Provenance: Mrs. Catharine Miller, wife of Stanley Miller, Eisenhower's campaign staff; 1 blush pink silk taffeta sleeveless gown w/ scoop neck, draped bodice, tulip skirt drawn into sporadic gathers, B 35", W 28.5", L 54", (loose snaps, light stains right B, group of light stains at H, missing bow left SH, underarm stains, 2.5"water stain right front hem, seams beginning to open either side of zip) fair.
