1 straw & horsehair garden hat w/ extended brim & pleated straw CB detail, patterned ribbed silk ribbon, cloth florals & tendrils, 11.5" x 10.5", depth 2", (tiny holes & spot stains to ribbon, covering of wire at brim worn, lining shattered & lightly stained) very good, Provenance: Grace Adele Sheldon; 1 wide brimmed black velvet hat w/ gathered corded detail around crown, ostrich feathers & pink & green pressed velvet leaves, label "Marcil, Holyoke Mass.", 12.5" x 11", depth 4.5", circ. 23", size 7.25, (velvet worn esp at brim, label & feathers worn, lining torn, crown crumpled) good.
