Sheer tabby cotton double collar, embroidered with openwork, satin stitch, and buttonhole stitch with floral sprigs positioned at points forming outside edges, paper tags (now missing) read, "Given by Miss Evelyn Newmanof Albany N.Y." and "Double Pelerine Collar c. 1830", (.25" hole on top layer at back of neck) good.
