1 silk & metallic woven caftan w/ inlaid weft brocade embroidery, corded seams, North Africa, late 19th C, CH 50”, L 53”, (light discoloration, many light stains up to 1.5”, few tiny holes, minor tarnish) good; 1 cream silk moire w/ calligraphic inspired cream silk embroidery around neckline, down CF & around sleeve openings, lined in cream silk satin, CH 48”, L 50”, (discoloration of thin light vertical bands, sm light stains, minor discoloration to hem, wear to tassels) very good; Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum
